For the past 44 years, I’ve been dedicated to the field of stomatognathic physiology — of which the last 30 have been focused on the phenomenon of condylar asymmetry, influencing functionally induced facial pain. It’s my world-wide experience during lectures, courses and clinical visits that has allowed me to become an expert in this area. Today I split my time between clinical activities in Stockholm, Munich and Seriate, Bergamo. My goal with this blog is to encourage the dental community to recognize condylar asymmetry as a legitimate source for functionally induced facial pain.
